Housing The Dream
We were raised believing in the American Dream – if we worked hard, played by the rules, and took a little risk, then prosperity would follow. While many workers are offered 401(k) retirement plans and guaranteed pensions, we invested our life savings into small businesses that provide housing for our neighbors.
As California residents and small-business owners in the age of COVID-19, we’re left to wonder whether that American Dream applies to us anymore.
Housing the Dream was a messaging vehicle produced on behalf of the California Apartment Association. Our goal was change the narrative that came with being a “landlord” in California, with the hopes of shifting sympathy in their favor in the midst of the housing moratorium.
For this project, HashtagPinpoint was tasked with:
Brand Design and Development: Brand Name, Logo Design, Color Palette
Website Build and Development: Securing Domain, Website Design and Functionality
Content Creation and Storytelling: Pre-production, production and post production editing
Digital Advertising and Targeting: Utilizing both custom audience lists and facebook’s built-in behaviors and interests
Social Listening and Maintainence: Monitoring platform chatter and responding to inbound messages
Data Collection: Coalition and email sign ups
